Inspiration : GEORGE MÉLIÈS and His Films

George Jean Méliès (8 December 1861 – 21 January 1938), began his carreer as a French illusionist and continued as a filmmaker. He was known for his ability to manipulate and transform reality through cinematography, which therefore he used to be known as the first "Cinemagician".

Le Voyage De Gulliver
Gulliver discovers the world in all its richness, with dwarfs and giants ...

La Sirène
A man in a silk top hat stands in front of an empty aquarium. He pours water into his hat and goes fishing, hooking a small one. He becomes a hobo and catches more and more fish from the hat. Then he starts pulling out rabbits. The backdrop becomes the sea, and a mermaid appears. She flirts and beguiles us. The mermaid becomes a woman who leaves the sea and joins the magician, who becomes Neptune.

Tentation De Saint-Antoine
The religious myth it refers to is one where St. Anthony of Egypt basically going on a hermitage, and Satan sends a lot of demons to tempt and torment him. So in the movie, St. Anthony is praying to a giant crucifix. Then succubi appear and jostle him, but they vanish and he goes back to praying. Then Christ on the crucifix turns into a succubus, climbs down, and goes to molest him some more. But it’s alright because in the end, an angle interchangeable with the succubi appears overhead.
